When a calibration at temperatures between -100°C to +425°C (optional +700°C) is required, or when mobility is needed, a series of transportable Ellab dry block systems is available. A stable temperature profile is created using a controlled and heated aluminum block fitted well to the sensors/probes being used.

When a calibration at temperatures up to +425°C is required, or when mobility is needed, a transportable Ellab dry block system is available. A stable temperature profile is created using an advanced heating system as well as a perfectly machined insert with wells (holes) to fit exactly the sensors/probes being used. Even so please note that one cannot expect the same high performance as the liquid baths due to this design.

The dry block series, which cover temperatures from -100 to +425°C (optional +700°C), consists of a main cabinet with easy access at the front to all controls, connective options, power inlet etc. 

The unit is equipped with a solid handle for convenient and safe handling – and a functional and protective carrying case for transport is either included or available as option. The many different inserts available are all deep in order to ensure stable readings for the sensors and probes being calibrated.

The high stability throughout the entire calibration zone is achieved by using an advanced and intuitive menu-driven controller with easy to read color display combined with active dual-zone heating technology where each heating zone is individually controlled to compensate for possible heat loss over the top.
