Our Sustainability
Efforts
At Ellab, we’re actively formulating a comprehensive sustainability strategy that will aim to mitigate the climate impact of our operations and products while fostering diversity in our workplace and ensuring a responsible supply chain.
As a first and necessary step to tackle environmental management concerns, our production site has held, since 2019, ISO14001 certification, which can be found here. This certification has ensured our compliance with environmental regulations, facilitated waste reduction, and accelerated the improvement of processes related to environmental impact issues.
Ellab has experienced significant growth in recent years, with the workforce expanding by 105% since 2020. This growth has been achieved through a combination of organic expansion and strategic acquisitions worldwide.
While we take pride in this achievement, it also brings additional emissions that need to be addressed.
How We’re Managing
GHG Emissions
-
In 2025, 65% of the electricity powering our operations came from renewable sources. To address the remaining 35%, primarily linked to leased offices where energy sourcing choices are limited, Energy Attribute Certificates (EACs) were used, ensuring that 100% of our electricity consumption is covered by renewable energy.
We also continued progressing on our fleet transition, increasing the share of electric and hybrid vehicles while reducing internal combustion engine (ICE) vehicles. This shift contributed to a 7% reduction in Scope 1 emissions, keeping us aligned with our SBTi targets and long-term decarbonization ambitions.

-
In 2025, Ellab continued to reduce its greenhouse gas emissions, with Scope 3 emissions decreasing by 15% compared to 2024. This builds on the progress achieved in previous years and confirms a consistent downward trend in our overall emissions, even as the business continues to grow.
To support our long-term sustainability ambitions, Ellab has established clear and ambitious targets across the organization and our network of partners. These efforts are guided by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi), with a commitment to set near-term emission reduction targets aligned with limiting global warming to 1.5°C in line with climate science.Ellab’s GHG emissions 2020-2025
-
Our SBTi commitments:
- 79,6% absolute contraction of Scope 1 & 2 (4% of total GHG emissions) by FY2030 (2020BY).
- 25% absolute contraction of Scope 3 (96% of total GHG emissions) by FY2030 (2020BY).
We’re dedicated to sustainability and are actively working to reduce our environmental impact, promote diversity, and ensure a responsible supply chain. We appreciate our stakeholders' support and patience as we continue this journey toward a more sustainable and healthier future.

EcoVadis’ Sustainability Rating evaluates a company’s sustainability performance and transparency across its value chain. In 2026, Ellab was awarded the Bronze medal by EcoVadis, in recognition of ranking among the top 35% of companies assessed.
Understanding
Our Environmental Footprint:
Life Cycle Assessment
Recognizing the importance of understanding our environmental footprint, we’ve initiated the implementation of Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) to quantify the impact of our products and services. This critical step will help us to identify and prioritize key environmental impacts or “hotspots” throughout the life cycle of a product or process and guide our efforts towards redesigning market solutions.
Building a Culture
of Compliance
& Integrity
Over the years, we’ve implemented a robust compliance program that ensures that the organization and its employees adhere to legal and regulatory standards, industry guidelines, ethical practices, and internal policies.
At Ellab, we’re equipped with an Employee Code of Conduct and a Whistleblower Policy, which are crucial tools for employees to adhere to ethical conduct and, eventually, to report wrongful behavior or violations of company policies. We encourage transparency, accountability, and a culture of integrity within the organization, safeguarding against wrongdoing and protecting the interests of employees, stakeholders, and the organization as a whole.
We want to set clear expectations for suppliers regarding ethical, environmental, and social responsibilities. This is why we defined a Supplier Code of Conduct, which ensures alignment with our values and standards while promoting sustainable practices throughout the supply chain and fostering trust and transparency in supplier relationships.
All policies can be found here.
Enhancing Sustainability Through Improved Waste Management
Finally, our focus on waste management has yielded positive results. We’ve successfully increased the proportion of recycled waste from 20% to an average of 52% of total waste generated at our production site. Our objective is to maximize recycling rates further while implementing policies aimed at reducing overall material consumption, including virgin materials, not only for the HQ but also for our subsidiaries worldwide.
