ACCREDIA – Italian Accreditation Body – is the only national body authorized by the State to carry out accreditation activities.
Calibration
Accreditation CertificateThe calibration service makes use of our ACCREDIA Calibration Center No. 00188 (for measurements of pressure, temperature, relative humidity, dew point, and electrical quantities), and the collaboration of national and foreign Calibration Centers, which ensure traceability to national and international standards
- Calibration of validation, laboratory, and maintenance instruments with EA-MLA and/or ILAC-MRA traceability for measuring temperature, relative humidity, dew point, pressure, air velocity and flow, and electrical signals.
- Sending the user a “Calibration Notice” in accordance with the agreed contractual or metrological requirements.
- Optimized scheduling of calibrations to be performed, agreeing with the user on the date of sending the instruments.
- Continuity, integrity, and updating of the company Quality System.
- Rental of instruments to replace those inactive for service.
- Technical assistance and repair of the instruments we supply.
ACCREDIA Accreditation for Calibration Services
The accreditation covers the calibration services listed in the Center's accreditation table no. 00188, available on the website www.accredia.it
ACCREDIA is the sole national accreditation body, recognized by the State on December 22, 2009, born from the merger of SIT, SINAL and SINCERT as a non-profit association.
With ACCREDIA, Italy has complied with Regulation (EC) No. 765 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 9 July 2008, which has been applicable to accreditation and market surveillance in all EU countries since 1 January 2010. Each European country has its own accreditation body. The National Body is responsible for accreditation in accordance with the international standards of the ISO 17000 series and operates on a non-profit basis. ACCREDIA assesses the technical competence and professional suitability of conformity assessment operators (laboratories and bodies), verifying their compliance with mandatory rules and voluntary standards, to ensure the validity and credibility of conformity assessments.
The activities of the Institution are divided into three Departments:
- Certification and inspection
- Testing laboratories
- Food safety testing laboratories
- Calibration laboratories
Our Laboratory is identified by the Accreditation Body as ACCREDIA Calibration Center No. 00188.
