This packing gland is ideal for large, sealed glass and plastic vials. By simply removing the tear-off aluminum piece in the middle of the rubber stopper, the gland can be placed over the top of the vial and tightened before the sensor can be carefully introduced through the rubber material. Used in the food and pharmaceutical industries for vials being processed through freezing, sterilization, etc.
